Thank God my Irish forebears upped their middle finger to the 'Crown' and enabled me to be born an American.
England is and has been a cesspool of tyranny. The sad shame of it all is that the seed of that assault on rights is truly counter to the free thinkers in that Nation...... Kinda reminds me of a song with the lyrics: "The Scots have their whiskey and the Welsh have their Leek, PROVIDED no ill words of England they speak". Luty's just experienced the equivalent of the Black and Tans on his home soil! |
